Every year Central Reserve Police Force conducts the CRPF Exam to recruit individuals for a number of different positions as discussed above. Eligibility Criteria for Central Reserve Police Force Exam

  1. Educational Qualification – You must have cleared the intermediate exam or 10 + 2 from one of the many recognized institutes in India.
  2. Nationality – You must be a citizen of India and must also be a permanent resident of India.
  3. Age Limit – You must be in the age group of 18 to 30 years to become eligible for the Assam Rifles Exam. However, the age can vary depending on the post that you are applying for.

In the case of SC, and ST candidates, the upper age limit has a relaxation of 5 years and the OBC candidates have a relaxation of 3 years. These are the three eligibility criteria that you are required to fulfill to appear for the Central Reserve Police Force exam.

Selection Process

The selection process of the Central Reserve Police Force includes a number of different steps. These various stages of the selection process of the Central Reserve Police Force exam include physical standard test, physical efficiency test, written test, trade test, medical test, and merit list. These are the different stages that the candidate is required to undergo to join Central Reserve Police Force. Being said that, only if your name appears on the merit list, then you can join Central Reserve Police Force in your chosen trade with the paramilitary force.

In the first phase of the selection process, the candidates are required to undergo a physical standard test and physical efficiency test. The written exam of the Central Reserve Police Force is divided into two parts of 50 marks each. Part A of the exam consists of four different sections. For instance, the general intelligence and reasoning section consists of 10 marks, the general awareness section consists of 10 marks, the numerical aptitude section consists of 15 marks, and the Hindi or English comprehension section consists of 15 marks as well. Part B of the written test is concerned with the profession of the trade. Therefore, the questions will vary from one post to another. You get a total of 2 hours or 120 minutes to solve 100 questions of 1 mark each. Being said that, the qualifying marks for the Central Reserve Police Force exam are 50% for General and Ex-Servicemen and 40% for SC, ST, and OBC.

In the general awareness section, you can expect questions from the different topics such as current affairs, latest appointments, Indian Nationalist Movement, Capitals and currencies, history, economics, awards and authors, sports, geography, and Indian Constitution among others.

  1. Numerical Aptitude

In the numerical aptitude section, you can expect questions from the different topics such as percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, time and distance, profit and loss, discount, number system, time and work, geometry, and mensuration among others.

  1. Hindi or English

In the Hindi or English section, you can expect questions from the different topics such as grammar, antonyms, synonyms, vocabulary, word usage, fill in the blanks, comprehension, sentence correction, and sentence completion among others.

These are the various topics in each one of these four sections that you can expect the questions from. Therefore, make sure you prepare for the written test accordingly. It is important because you only get an hour to answer 100 questions. Thus, make sure you are well-prepared in advance for the exam.
